TWO SONGS MAKE THEIR COMPACT DISC DEBUT ON U.K. COMPILATIONS
The Bobby Goldsboro recording of "The Time for Us" is available for the first time on
compact disc on a compilation entitled, "Something Good: From the Goffin & King
Songbook."
Previously only available on the 1965 "Little Things" album, the song is featured as one
of 26 tracks on this collection of songs written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King.
Released in April 2012 by Ace Records UK (704852), the single disc also includes songs
by The Drifters, The Byrds, Rick Nelson, Skeeter Davis, The Monkees, Tony Orlando,
Bobby Vee, The Everly Brothers, Lesley Gore, and Dion.
Bobby's 1967 song "No Fun at the Fair" is now also available on compact disc for the first
time. Recorded in England, it first appeared on vinyl on “The Romantic, Wacky, Soulful,
Rockin’, Country, Bobby Goldsboro” album.
Part of a British two-CD compilation titled, "Sounds of the Sixties," the song is in
monaural form.
The set was released in December 2011 by EMI TV and the BBC (VTDCD 1038), and
also includes songs by Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones, Diana Ross, the Beach Boys and
Willie Nelson.
HEAR THE FUNNY LITTLE CLOWN ON TELEVISION
Bobby's "See the Funny Little Clown" was featured on an episode of the "Supernatural"
television series on The CW network.
A portion of the song played during the show's Season 7, Episode #5 entitled, "Shut Up,
Dr. Phil," which aired first on October 21, 2011, and reran on June 29, 2012. The
individual show is available for download, and is also part of the DVD set released
September 18, 2012.
IN THE WORKS: NEW COMPACT DISC OF CONCERT PERFORMANCE
A new CD featuring some of the songs from Bobby’s February 19, 2011, concert in St. Charles, Missouri is in
development. This would be the very first official release of a Bobby Goldsboro live album.

Seth MacFarlane, film and television mogul who created the “Family Guy” animated series and
will host the 2013 Academy Awards, recently tweeted this:

Just once I’d like to see a car full of gang members cruising through Los
Angeles with their speakers blasting Bobby Goldsboro.

It drew enough attention that someone made a YouTube video editing “Honey” into a clip of gang
movie, “Boyz N The Hood.” Click HERE to watch.
