HOLD ON
This Bobby Goldsboro original is the B-side of the 1966 “No Fun at the Fair” single #UP 1166 released in
England. In this rocker, the singer warns his straying love. “You’re throwing kisses just a little too far.” The
chorus is: “You better hold on, baby, or I might have to let you go”
TOO MANY PEOPLE
An alternate version of the song released on the 1966 “Blue Autumn” album, this was recorded in England.
It features more prominent drums, and like “Hold On,” was arranged and conducted by Charles Blackwell.
The song is available on UK 1967 single #UP 1177.
Each song is only available on 7” vinyl records (singles and extended play singles) in monaural form.
