2013 YEAR HIGHLIGHTED
BY TWO CONCERTS
The 2013 calendar year featured two Bobby
Goldsboro concerts.
T
The first was performed at the Riverside
Casino & Golf Resort in Riverside, Iowa, on
Sunday, February 17th.
The second was held a month later on Saturday, March 30,
at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre in Marietta, Georgia.
Both shows were incredible evenings of great music,
stories and humor. Bobby stayed to greet fans long after
each performance.

Successful art shows of Bobby’s oil paintings were held on January 26th at The
Villages in Florida; March 12-16th at the May Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona; and on
December 13th at the Sweet Art Gallery in Naples, Florida.
TIMMY TAPPAN
Dr. Timothy Norman Tappan passed away in Nashville on March 3, 2013, at the age of 67, from the
effects of a heart attack.
Timmy was a longtime friend of Bobby Goldsboro, as well as being his pianist and musical director for
many years. Joining Bobby in the early 1970’s, Timmy played on and co-produced many records,
was involved in “The Bobby Goldsboro Show” and several of Bobby’s childrens’ projects, and was
the leader of the concert band.
NELL GOLDSBOROUGH
Bobby’s mother, Grace Wynell Cawthon “Nell” Goldsborough, passed away on June 15, 2013, in Dothan, Alabama, at
the age of 92.
JOAN ROBERTS
Bobby’s mother-in-law, Joan Roberts, passed away on June 27, 2013, in Silver Springs, Florida, at the age of 79.
